I Corinthians 13
Love is the behavior of the person who looks into the Gospel, where God's behavior of love is displayed.
This is the main idea of I Corinthians 13 - A church-planting pastor's words to a divisive church that over-emphasized their character and their gifts above their other church-mates. The "Love Chapter" is important for us because all of the relationships of our world are built on love, and because love is the Christ-like behavior which we take on when we behold God's love displayed towards us in saving sinners by Himself and for Himself. Love is not motivation. Love isn't an ingredient. Love isn't something extra. Love is the behavior of the person who looks into the Gospel, where God's behaviro of love is displayed.
Want to love? Look at how God has loved you.
