I Corinthians 10

We are dependent on God for the worship of God.

The Bible teaches us in this chapter that we are all worshipers. We either worship God, or things - idolatry - stands in the way of worshiping God alone. And because of that, as well as the supreme holiness of God, we are dependent on Him to make a way both to approach Him in His holiness but also to cause us to fix our eyes in Him alone. Even as Christians we can be tied up in our worship of worship, our devotedness, our disciplines. Instead, the Gospel alone empowers us to - in whatever we do - do it all for the glory of God.
